Why we started this

We founded Resin Oud Co because we couldn't figure out why most colognes faded by lunch and all smelled the same. Every bottle on the shelf was 80% alcohol — sprayed for a 20-minute dry-down, and then nothing.

On a trip overseas, we found something better: pure perfume oils worn the same way for centuries. No alcohol. No filler. Just scent that stays close to your skin and evolves with you through the day.

We started blending our own oils — designed to bridge the depth of Eastern perfumery with the modern feel of the West. That's what we do, one drop at a time.

What we actually make

Every scent we sell is:

  • 100% oil. No alcohol. No parabens. No filler.
  • Small batch. We buy and bottle in runs, not pallets. When a scent is gone, it's gone until the next one lands.
  • Designed to wear daily. A tiny vial. Two swipes. 12 hours.

You are not buying a souvenir. You are buying the cologne you will reach for tomorrow morning.

Where it comes from

We partner with a fragrance house overseas that has been blending oil-based perfume for generations. Every batch is sourced there, and tested on us first. Then we ship from Chicago.

Who this is for

You're here if you've already smelled real oud and everything else feels watered down. Or you've never smelled it and you're tired of wearing the same four colognes as every guy at the gym. Either works.

The scents we sell have been worn to weddings, first dates, board meetings, funerals, and the afternoon school run. They weren't designed for any of those, specifically. They were designed for you.

How we ship and how we return

Orders over $65 ship free in the US. Most orders go out within 2 business days. If you don't love what lands, send it back within 30 days — no lectures.
